Domestic Airline Contract Negotiation
Your SERVANT TRAVEL Meetings Consultant may negotiate airline contracts specifically on your behalf, perhaps under a one time or multi-trip contract or by utilizing one of our existing long-term air carrier contracts.
We also have negotiated domestic discount fares on some airlines, which apply to all travelers belonging to, or traveling for, religious and nonprofit organizations.
Special Contracts
Airlines are usually willing to negotiate special contracts for any domestic meeting when at least ten passengers will travel on an airline. Provisions may include a 5% discount off any applicable fare, or a 10% discount off the lowest unrestricted fare, and one free ticket for every 40 to 50 tickets purchased.
Multi-Meeting Contracts
Organizations that conduct three or more meetings per year and provide at least 10 passengers per meeting to an airline may be eligible for a multi-meeting contract. This agreement may bring advantages such as waiving of the Saturday night stay restriction or "zone" fares for specific meetings or organizations.
Multi-meeting contracts offer other efficiencies such as adding another meeting to the existing agreement without resuming negotiations.
Lowest Fare Potential
SERVANT TRAVEL's reservation auditing technology continues to monitor for the lowest fares after a contract has been finalized. We may uncover a lower fare at the time of inquiry or reservation than what has been contracted. Even after ticketing, if an attendee's fare drops enough below the meeting fare to compensate for reissuing fees plus a set amount, we will notify the traveler and re-issue the ticket.
International Airline Group Fare Negotiation
SERVANTTRAVEL negotiates international group airfares directly with the carrier's group services department.
The discounts available will vary and are dependent upon the destination, airline, time of year and number of passengers.
For a group fare, the airlines usually require at least 10 passengers traveling on the same itinerary.
